Quincy, IL - The Quincy University women's tennis team welcomed Missouri Western State University on Saturday (Mar. 5). The Hawks fell 6-1 as Laila Leist-Alston won her singles match, two sets to one.

Leist-Alston started the singles match for the Hawks and lost the first set 6-2. The second set was a hard battle that stretched to a tie breaker, 7-6. Leist-Alston got the win after the tie breaker and responded quickly right after with a 10-4 win in the third set to win the only match for the Hawks.
