Davenport, Mich.—The Men's Lacrosse team took a 3-game win streak with them on the road to Davenport University and fell by the score of 14-5.
Just 8 minutes into the match, the Panthers jumped out to a 4-0 lead. The Hawks got on the board at the 6:47 mark on a man-up goal by
Neal Dardis on the assist by
Preston Willman. About a minute later, the Panthers added another goal to extend the lead to 5-1.
To begin the 2
nd stanza,
Jordan Ernst made it 5-2 on a man-up goal assisted by
Jayme Brain. Then 3 minutes later, Willman got the Hawks to within 2 on an assist by Ernst. The Panthers answered with two goals of their own to regain their four-goal lead going into the halftime break.
Davenport would see their lead grow to seven during the 3
rd quarter. With just a little over a minute left in the frame,
Blaine Lowrance scored to make it 10-4 Panthers.
Lowrance would add another goal in the final frame at the 10:06 mark to make the score 11-5. The Panthers scored the final 3 goals to finish out the match.
