The Quincy University men's volleyball team fell to Loyola University Chicago in a 3-0 sweep at Gentile Arena on Thursday (February 10) afternoon.

1st Set

The Hawks thoroughly struggled to start off the game, with their first score (on a kill from Raje Alleyne) coming after the Ramblers had already scored five points. QU was unable to recover, leading to a final score of 11-25, with the set going to Loyola.

2nd Set

The Hawks fell behind early yet again, with an Eddie Jakubauskas kill providing QU with their first point, which came after Loyola had scored four. QU were more competitive in this set, but it was still not enough, leading to a 20-25 loss.

3rd Set

The final set was the Hawks' most competitive, only falling behind by two points before a Nathan Lawton kill put them on the board, and tying the Ramblers twice: once at 3 on an attack error, and again at 4 on a service error. However, QU fell behind yet again and were unable to recover, losing the set 18-25 and the match 3-0.

Nathan Lawton led the Hawks with 14 points and 14 kills.
