QUINCY, Ill. – The Truman State Bulldogs used a five minute stretch in the 3

Harris dove for the end zone to give QU the 19-14 lead with 4:24 left in the half. Truman State scored two more times before the half ended to go up 24-19.
The Bulldogs received the 2
nd half kick and took full advantage of the opportunity. They went 75 yards in 8 plays to extend the lead to 31-19. Just six seconds later, they picked off Harris to double the Hawks 38-19. After a 2
nd interception by Harris, they needed 2 plays to go 5 yards as they took the commanding 45-19 lead. After the Bulldogs scored another touchdown, the Hawks looked to be gaining some traction as Harris found Lawrence for their 2
nd passing touchdown to make it a 52-26 game.
The Hawk defense helped QU claw back into the contest as David Tabakovic recovered a fumble and returned it 54 yards for the score. Unfortunately, that was all the closer the Hawks would get as TSU added an insurance score with 3:34 remaining in the contest.
