Quincy University Hawks

2023 (Fifth): In his final season, Lawrence saw action in all 11 games, where he had 20 receptions for 315 yards and four touchdowns. He also served as the Hawks' lead kick returner, returning 11 kicks and averaging 25.91 yards per return.

2022 (Senior): In his second season with the Hawks, Lawrence led the team in receptions (51), reception yards (818), reception touchdowns (9), and reception yards per game (74.36). Jalen appeared in all 11 games and scored a touchdown in seven of them, including two touchdown games against Truman State (10/29/22) and Southwest Baptist (11/5/22). His season-high in receiving yards came in the Truman State game when he had nine receptions for 149 yards.

2021 (Junior): In his first season with the Hawks, Lawrence played in nine games and had 11 receptions for 220 yards and a touchdown. He made his debut with the Hawks against Midwestern State (9/4/21), where he hauled in his first pass that went for 32 yards. His first score in a Hawk uniform was a 32-yard touchdown grab against Truman State (10/30/21).

2019 (Sophomore at Glendale CC): In his second season with Glendale, Jalen appeared in nine games and had 40 receptions for 432 yards and six touchdowns. His season-long was a 68-yard reception. He continued to return kickoffs, returning 25 on the season, averaging 20.4 yards per return.

2018 (Freshman at Glendale CC): In ten games, Jalen had 31 receptions for 437 yards and five touchdowns. He had a season-long 61-yard reception that came against Mt. San Jacinto (9/22/18). He also returned ten kickoffs, averaging 28.3 yards per return, including a 96-yard touchdown against LA Southwest (11/10/18).

Personal: Lawrence spent two seasons at Glendale Community College before coming to Quincy. He is originally from Los Angeles, California, where he graduated from James A. Garfield High School. He is the son of Danielle Lawrence and the brother of Javon. Jalen had an impact on both sides of the ball in high school, as he was a first-team all-conference receiver and an all-city selection as a safety. In his two years at Glendale, he was named all-conference as a wide receiver in both seasons. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and painting on shoes and cleats. His favorite wide receiver is Odell Beckham Jr., and his favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles.
