KANSAS CITY, MO. – The Quincy University men's soccer came up short on Saturday afternoon (Apr. 3) in a match up with Rockhurt University. The Hawks fell 1-0 in their first shutout loss of the season.
The Hawks entered the contest winners of their last three matches, and Rockhurst looked to end a two-game losing streak. Through the first 45 minutes, Quincy attacked with three shots, two of which were on goal. Quincy's defense allowed no shots on goal in the first.
In the second half, the tide turned as Rockhurst finished with eight shots, five of which were on goal as the lone score came in the 63 minute. A shot struck the left crossbar and found the back of the net giving Rockhurst a one-nil advantage.

Aubrey Reis led the Hawk attack with five shots and two on goal. Goalkeeper
Christos Kalaitzis had four saves in the final period of play, but the goal from Rockhurst was enough to seal the deal in Kansas City.
