KANSAS CITY, MO. – The QU women's lacrosse team began their final road trip of the season as they headed to Rockhurst University on Friday. The Hawks fell behind early and could not dig themselves out of the hole in a 22-4 defeat.
Megan Ganniger scored on an unassisted goal four minutes into the contest to make it 1-1, but the home team Hawks of Rockhurst proceeded to outscore QU, 12-2, the rest of the first half.
Danielle Robinson scored the other two first half goals for Quincy as they were her 34th and 35th of the season.
Heaven-Lee Nichols scored the lone second half goal for QU as the Hawks fell 22-4.
Their final game of the season will be this Sunday at Missouri Western on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
