INDIANAPOLIS, IN. - The Quincy University women's lacrosse team went to Indianapolis and squared off with the top-ranked Greyhounds on Sunday (April 18) afternoon. The Hawks fell 26-3 after facing their second top-two opponent in three games.
The Greyhounds had their way in the first half and built a 17-1 advantage by halftime.
Danielle Robinson scored the lone first half goal for the Hawks.
Heaven-Lee Nichols scored along with another from Robinson in the second half, but the Hawks fell by a final score of 26-3.
Danielle Robinson now has 31 goals on the season.
QU will hold their final home game this coming Wednesday (April 21) when they host McKendree in a rescheduled contest at QU Stadium.
