QUINCY, Ill. – The Quincy University men's lacrosse team played their second home game of the season against Maryville University on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 27), and the Hawks fell 19-0 to the Saints.
Quincy fell behind quickly in the first period as the Saints scored four goals to take the lead. In the second period, Maryville stretched their lead to 11-0 as the Hawks remained scoreless.
The second half went down in a similar fashion for the Hawks as the Saints extended their lead to 16-0 by the end of the third period.
The game ended with a 19-0 defeat for Quincy, as the Hawks tallied just seven shots on goal for the entire game compared to Maryville's 33.

Quincy will be on the road at Grand Rapids, MI to face Davenport University at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday (Mar. 13).
