QU Tops Trojans, Four Hawks in Double Digits

QUINCY, IL---Quincy women's basketball topped Hannibal-LaGrange 84-49 on Friday (Dec 10) night at Pepsi Arena. 

QU was leading 19-14 after the first quarter, but outscored the Trojans 21-9 in the second quarter to lead comfortably at halftime. 

QU scored 25 points in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. The Hawks had 37 bench points, 23 points off turnovers, and 30 points in the paint. 

QU went 11-24 from 3-point range and were led by Emma Knipe and Regan Loconte each with 14 points. 

Maddie Spagnola added 12 points and six assists and Beth Matas Martin added 11 points for the Hawks.
