Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 QUINCY, Ill. – The Quincy University men's and women's tennis programs opened the 2020 spring season by facing Maryville University on Friday (Jan. 31) at the Quincy Racquet Club.

Maryville won on both sides with the Hawks falling 7-0 on the women's side, while the men fell 6-1. 

The lone win of the day for QU came at the hands of freshman Sebastian Gomez. Gomez won the No. 6 singles match 7-5, 6-2 over Maryville's Erik Aarthun. 

Quincy tennis will be back in action on Saturday, February 8th to take on McKendree in Lebanon, Illinois.
