KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Hawks traveled just 77 miles to take on the Truman State Bulldogs on Saturday (Feb. 9). Truman State's consistent offense pushed the Bulldogs to an 85-57 win over their GLVC rival.

1st Half
The Bulldogs opened the game by scoring nine straight points, including seven by Turner Scott.

Hughes scored again on the Bulldogs next possession on a layup to extend the lead to six.
A 7-0 run by Truman gave the Bulldogs a 18-10 lead.
Jah-Kobe Womack ended the Bulldogs run on a deep three-pointer midway through the first half.
At the eight-minute media timeout, Truman State held a 23-16 lead over the Hawks.
The Bulldogs took a 10-point lead on a three-pointer by Brodric Thomas.
Thomas found his rhythm and hit a three-pointer from nearly the identical spot on following possession to give the Bulldogs a 13-point lead.
Trailing by 15,
Jah-Kobe Womack knocked down a 15-footer to bring the lead to 31-18.
With 3:23 remaining in the half the Bulldogs held an 11-point lead over the Hawks.
The Bulldogs took a 10-point lead into the half. Truman State shot 44% from the field in the first half. Quincy went 11-15 from the foul line in the half.
2nd Half
Truman State opened on an 8-2 run to push their lead to 46-30 through the first four minutes of the second half.
After 10 minutes of second half action, the Hawks trailed the Bulldogs 57-39. QU's offense scored just nine points in the first ten minutes of the second half.
The Bulldogs were a perfect 10-10 from the foul line after 13 minutes played in the second half. Truman also made a pair of three-pointers to extend their lead to 21 with 7:27 to play.
The Bulldog offense kept the Hawks at-bay, making four three-pointers and going 19-22 from the foul line in the second half.
Truman State defeated the Hawks 85-57 to improve to 12-11, 7-6 in the GLVC.
Tanner Stuckman turned in a career performance, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Stuckman's pervious career high was 18 points against Rockhurst last season.
