1st Set
The Hawks looked to build on Saturday's GLVC win over UIndy. Quincy took control of the first set from the beginning and never relinquished the lead.

QU spread the wealth around, as five different Hawks recorded kills early on. Stephanie Mizeur, Emily Rehagen, Sarah Brown, Emma Lynch and Lauren Worl all got on the board to give the Hawks a 10-4 lead.

The Bulldogs cut the lead to just one at 11-10 before Quincy won the next eight of ten points behind three kills from Emily Rehagen.

The QU run forced Truman to take their second timeout of the set.

The timeout did not stop the Hawks momentum as they continued to roll.

Quincy went up 23-15 and then Rehagen closed it out. The freshman from O'Fallon, Missouri slammed down back-to-back kills to give the Hawks a 25-15 victory.

2nd Set
QU kept the solid play going as they jumped out to a 10-5 lead in the second set.

Stephanie Mizeur put down two straight kills to extend the Hawks lead to 14-8.

Quincy used a combination of solid offense and Bulldog errors to jump ahead 21-14.

The home team cut the lead to five before QU took three of the last four points. Makayla Knoblauch ended things with a kill, giving the Hawks a 25-17 set two win.

3rd Set
Truman came out in the third set determined. The Bulldogs scored the first four points to go up 4-0.

Two kills from Emily Rehagen and Stephanie Mizeur put the Hawks on the board, but Truman still led 5-2.

The Bulldogs proceeded to go on an 8-0 run, extending their lead to 13-2.

The Hawks clawed back to within six at 19-13, but the Truman lead was too much to overcome.

The Bulldogs took the third set 25-15.

4th Set
The Hawks came out with an added energy in the fourth set.  Kills by Emily Rehagen and Stephanie Mizeur, followed by a Makayla Knoblauch service ace put QU up 3-0.

In the most highly contested set, Truman fought back to tie it at 8-8.

A Bulldog error and another perfectly placed serve by Knoblauch pushed the Hawks ahead 10-8.

The teams went toe-to-toe the rest of the way, as Quincy held a one-point lead at 23-22.
