"I would like to thank Dr. McGee and Marty Bell for presenting me the opportunity to join the Quincy community," said Bohanan. "I am eager to begin the process of bringing in quality student-athletes that will be the foundation of this program. College bowling has grown tremendously on both the men's and women's sides and I believe that Quincy is an ideal position to attract student-athletes that will accept the hard work and challenges that are ahead of us."

"As we launch our men's & women's bowling programs, it was vital that we find strong leadership with a wealth of experience," said Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Marty Bell. "I believe we have found that in Coach Nick Bohanan. He has a very diversified background both nationally and internationally. He is a teacher first and believes in developing student-athletes physically and mentally to maximize their potential and talents. His approach is well-suited to our University's mission and the culture we have established for QU athletic programs. I look forward to supporting his vision and goals for both programs as we begin our journey to building competitive teams for the 2020-21 athletic season."
