EVANSVILLE, In. – The Quincy University women's basketball team dropped its second straight game at the hands of Southern Indiana. The Hawks fell 75-49.

1st Quarter
The Hawks came out cold in the first quarter. A three pointer by
Jessica Merino and a jump shot from
Aleksandra Petrovic were the only baskets in the first ten minutes.
Going into the second quarter, Southern Indiana led 19-5.
2nd Quarter
QU tried to keep up with the USI offense, but the Screaming Eagles shot nearly 70% from the field in the quarter.
With under a minute to play in the half, Southern Indiana built a 43-19 lead. Quincy scored four straight to end the half trailing 43-23.
3rd Quarter
In the second half, the cold shooting continued for the Hawks. QU went 3-13 with baskets from Petrovic and Merino.
Outside the sluggish start from the floor, Quincy went 6-7 from the line and were down 61-36 going into the fourth.
4th Quarter
Quincy failed to make up ground in the final quarter. The offense could not find a rhythm up until the final buzzer. The Hawks shot 5-18 as they failed to surpass fifty points for the second straight game.
Quincy dropped the GLVC matchup 75-49.
