Play by Play
The Quincy offense continued their impressive output early in Sunday's game. The Hawks scored two goals in the first ten minutes of play.Â
In the 6th minute,
Cooper Reis put his corner kick in a great spot near the goal. Through all the bodies, redshirt sophomore
Aubrey Reis was able to make a play to put the Hawks ahead 1-0. It was Reis' ninth of the year.Â
The midfielder had more left in the tank. Just two minutes later, freshman
Hayden Tucker made a run down the right side and sent a well placed cross into the box. Tucker's pass was tapped in by
Aubrey Reis once again for goal number ten.

The Hawks would go into the break leading 2-0.
In the second half, Truman looked to get on the board. The Bulldogs outshot Quincy 5-3 in the first 25 minutes.Â
QU almost struck again in the 70th minute. Freshman striker
Kingsford Adjei had a prime scoring opportunity as he found himself 1-on-1 with the Truman goalkeeper. His shot from 17 yards out hit the post. Adjei regained the ball off the deflection but his second opportunity was high.Â
The Hawks would tack on two more goals late in the game.Â
Hayden Tucker scored his third goal of the season as he beat the TSU keeper in the 85th minute.Â
A minute later,
