Indianapolis, In. – The Quincy University women's volleyball won its third and final game at the Midwest Regional Crossover. The Hawks defeated Trevecca Nazarene in straight sets to sweep the weekend. 

Play by Play
Set 1
In the first set, Quincy gained the lead with a three-point run to make the score 8-7. The Hawks remained in front until Trevecca responded with a four point run to move in front 14-13. 

The score was notched at 17-17 when Quincy pulled away. The Hawks scored seven in a row to bring the score to 23-17 as they went on to win the set 25-18.

Set 2
The Trojans got ahead early in the second set with a 6-2 lead. The Hawks answered with a four-point run which put the Hawks in front for the first time 8-7. 

After Quincy gained the advantage, the lead changed three times. The Hawks moved back ahead 17-15 after a three-point run. Taylor McMonagle and Baylie Stephens had kills to help QU move back ahead. 

QU finished strong by scoring the last 8 of 12 points to go earn the two set advantage. 

Set 3
Trevecca started the third set off hot by scoring the first five points. Quincy got back into it with a four-point run and tied the game at 7-7. Sara Rathbun, Taylor McMonagle, and Sarah Brown all had kills to help bring the Hawks back to a tie. 

The Hawks fell behind shortly after regaining the advantage. QU trailed 20-17 before changing the momentum to their side. Quincy scored six in a row to once again move into the lead 23-20. 

QU went on to win the set 25-21 and finish the weekend undefeated. It is the fourth straight win for the women's volleyball team. 

Senior Marissa Gonzalez was nominated to the All-Tournament team. Eight players were selected from each conference to form the All-Tournament squads.
