Indianapolis, IN. – The Quincy University women's volleyball came back from two sets down to defeat Kentucky Wesleyan in the first game of the day. The Hawks forced a decisive fifth set by winning the fourth set in 34 points. 
Play by Play
Set 1
The Hawks got of to a bit of a slow start. QU fell behind 8-4 in the first set after a pair of attack errors. 
Stephanie Mizeur was able to tie the game 17-17 after a kill. 
Kentucky Wesleyan scored the next three points to go ahead 20-17. They also ended the game by scoring the last three points to win 25-21.
Set 2 
Quincy fell behind 3-0 to start the second set. But the Hawks responded by scoring the next five points to move ahead 5-3. 
QU remained in the driver's seat until the Panthers tied the game at 16-16. Quincy went back ahead 20-17, but KWC rallied to tie the game once more 21-21. 
Kentucky Wesleyan ended the game on a four-point run to take set two 25-23. 
Set 3
In the third set, Quincy went up 6-5 before Wesleyan made a run. The Panthers scored four in a row to move in front 9-6. 
Quincy came back with a four-point run of their own to regain the lead 12-11. 
A service error on Wesleyan allowed QU to tie the game 16-16. The Hawks went ahead 22-17 after a pair of kills from 
Kaeley Mueller. 
Marissa Gonzalez capped of the third set win with a service ace as the Hawks won 25-20.
Set 4
The fourth set proved to be the difference in this game. It took 34 points and eight late lead changes to force the fifth set for Quincy. 
Kentucky Wesleyan scored the first four points to open the set. Quincy moved ahead thanks to six point run that put QU in the lead 10-7. 
The Hawks remained ahead until the game was tied at 16-16. After four straight points, Quincy held a 22-18 lead and looked to go to a fifth set. 
With Quincy knocking at the door in a 24-22 game, KWC rattled off three straight to flip the momentum. QU scored the next two points and went ahead 26-25. 
The Panthers scored two in a row to change the lead again 27-26. 
Baylie Stephens collected back-to-back kills to put the Hawks back in front 28-27. 
The lead changed three more times to bring the score to 32-31 favoring Kentucky Wesleyan. Quincy broke through with three points.

Sarah Brown ended the set with back-to-back kills. 
Set 5
Quincy rode the momentum all the way through the final set. The Hawks allowed a single point and finished the game with a decisive 15-1 win. 
The Hawks have now won three straight with their win over the Panthers.
