LIBERTY, Mo. – Freshman
Kingsford Adjei scored twice to help the Hawks past William Jewell 3-2 on Friday night. It was the second game in a row that the freshman striker recorded a pair of goals.

Quincy's offense attack made its presence felt early.
Kingsford Adjei put a shot on goal in the first 30 seconds, but it was saved by the Jewell keeper. The Hawks put up two more shots in the first eight minutes but could not get on the board.
That changed in the 9th minute.
Kingsford Adjei broke through for the Quincy attack and recorded his seventh goal of the season.
The offensive pressure continued from QU's front line. This time, it was a new face that came through for the Hawks. Redshirt sophomore
Anthony Christante scored his first goal of the season to put his team ahead 2-0.
The Hawks led 2-0 going into halftime.
It took a little over ten minutes after the start of the second half for Quincy to strike again.
Kingsford Adjei made the play for the Hawks to give them a 3 goal lead in the 56th minute.
William Jewell turned things around after QU's third goal. Jewell got on the board just before the 66th minute to bring the score to 3-1.
The Cardinals outshot Quincy 6-1 in the final 15 minute. Jewell made the game interesting when they netted a second goal in the 85th minute to make the score 3-2.
Quincy's defense held firm the rest of the way and the Hawks took the win 3-2.
