QUINCY, Ill. - The Quincy University men's soccer team fell to GLVC opponent Wisconsin-Parkside 4-0 Sunday afternoon (Hawktober 15) on Senior Day.  

The Rangers got on the board first with a goal in the sixth minute of play.  Brandon Henderson received a pass 10 yards from the Hawks goal and sank his shot into the bottom right corner of the goal to put the Rangers up 1-0.  

The Hawks were able to put numerous shots on goal but were unable to tie the score at 1-1.  

Just before the half a through ball was sent into the box and Jorge Garcia had his shot hit the top of the crossbar and bounce in for a goal.  The Rangers would take a 2-0 lead into the half.  

Parkside scored the third goal in the 54th minute to extend the lead to 3-0.  The Rangers were awarded a penalty kick after a foul in the box.  Nate Griffin (St. Louis, MO./ CBC) made the initial save but Abraham Kanneh put away the second chance opportunity. 

The Hawks put eight shots on goal but were unable to find the back of the net.  

Parkside added another late goal to bring the final to 4-0.  

The Hawks fall to 5-8, 4-7 in the GLVC. QU travels to Lewis, Friday (Hawktober 20) for the next GLVC match up against the Flyers.
