Quincy Tennis Falls at Rockhurst

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Quincy University men's and women's tennis teams fell to Rockhurst University on Friday, Apr. 15th in Great lakes Valley Conference play. The QU men took one point from RU with an 8-1 finish. The QU women dropped all nine points to RU.

The Rockhurst men (8-6, 2-1 GLVC) won the third doubles match 8-3, followed by the second doubles match 8-4.

Ryan McMillan and Patrick Kuhle gave Quincy (5-10, 1-3 GLVC) an 8-6 win in the number one doubles match.

Rockhurst swept the men's singles to take an 8-1 win.

The QU women (10-8, 1-4) fell in the first two doubles matches. Anna Morrissey and Morgan McGinnis forced a tiebreaker in the third doubles match. The QU duo fell in the tiebreaker 8-6 to drop the match 9-8.

The RU women (9-5, 2-1 GLVC) swept singles play to finish a 9-0 victory.

The Quincy tennis teams will travel to Liberty, Mo. to face William Jewell College on Saturday, Apr. 16th in a GLVC matchup.
