Road Warrior Lady Hawks Head to Indiana

QUINCY, Ill. - The No. 18 Quincy University women's basketball will travel to Indiana this weekend to face Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division members, the University of Indianapolis and Saint Joseph's College. QU will head to Indianapolis first on Thursday, Feb. 4 with tip-off at 4:30 p.m. CT. The Lady Hawks will travel to Rensselaer, Ind. to play SJC on Saturday, Feb. 6 with a tip-off time of 1 p.m.

Quincy Five Fun Facts
- Quincy is shooting 42.2% from three this season ranking third in NCAA Division II women's basketball. Nikia Edom has hit 2.1 triples per game while shooting 50% ranking second in NCAA DII. Carly Beebe is hitting 48.6% from three with 17 made this season. Megan Wienstroer ranks second in the GLVC making 52.6% while averaging 1.25 threes per game.

- Maggie Cunningham earned the first double-double of her career on Saturday, Jan. 23 against Missouri-St. Louis. Cunningham scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. The senior point guard also dished out eight assists. Cunningham netted 22 points on Thursday, Jan. 21 en route to a win over Maryville.

- Kara Gerbus recorded her second double-double of the season at Drury on Jan. 28 to lead the team. Gerbus scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Springfield, Mo. The senior forward is scoring 11.1 points per game and averages 4.4 boards per contest.

- Erin Mennemeyer scored a career-high 29 points at Drury on Thursday. It was the most points scored by a Lady Hawk since Maggie Cunningham scored 29 against Drury Jan. 30, 2014 in Pepsi Arena.

- QU has shot 74.8% from the line this season ranking fourth in the GLVC and 33rd in NCAA DII. In the last five minutes of play, the Lady Hawks raise that average to 78.5%. Maggie Cunningham has hit 38-of-42 (90.5%) free throws in the final five minutes of games. Cunningham is fourth in the GLVC and 37th in NCAA DII shooting 85.4% from the line this season. Carly Beebe is averaging 86% from the line while hitting 37-of-43 in her senior campaign.

UIndy Five Fun Facts
- Indianapolis is 3-7 at home in Nicoson Hall this season. The Greyhounds have split the past four GLVC weekends with wins coming against Illinois Springfield and Missouri-St. Louis at home.

- Princess German leads the Greyhounds and the GLVC scoring 20.8 points per game. German has taken 154 threes and knocked down 46. German is shooting 44.6% from the field this season.

- Nicole Anderson adds 14.2 points per game to the mix for UIndy. Anderson leads UIndy with 7.1 rebounds per game.
