LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The No. 19 Quincy University women's basketball team extended their winning streak to seven in handing Bellarmine University their first loss of the season. QU topped BU 83-75 in Knights Hall at Louisville, Ky. The Lady Hawks shot 52% from the field, and converted their 29-of-44 from the line including 22 in the second half and 14 in the final five minutes of play.

The Knights (11-1, 5-1 GLVC) jumped out to a 17-10 lead after the first quarter thanks in part to 11 rebounds in the quarter including five offensive boards.

The 19th-ranked Lady Hawks (15-1, 6-1 GLVC) answered in the second quarter with a seven-point run with under three minutes to play. Erin Mennemeyer scored five points during the run to give QU a 32-30 lead.
