Hawks Stumble Against Miners

ROLLA, Mo. - The Quincy University women's volleyball team fell to Missouri S&T on Friday night (Oct. 10) 3-0.  QU hit -.029 as a team with 25 errors.  S&T hit .162 with 36 kills.  

The Hawks (3-14, 1-9 GLVC) led the first set 6-1, but the Miners (10-7, 7-3 GLVC) finished the first set with a 25-16 win.  

S&T followed with a second set win of 25-14 and a third set win of 25-16.  

Jessica Licurgo led the Hawks with six kills.  Rachel Shores had 11 digs.  Miranda Rodriguez recorded 14 assists.  Emily Lindemulder had five block assists.

Gracey Moon led the Miners with nine kills.  Krista Haslag posted eight kills.  Jackie Pyles had 15 digs.  Allie Plunk led the team with 21 assists.  

The Hawks travel to the campus of Drury University in Springfield, Mo. tomorrow (Oct. 11) to play Drury at 2:00 p.m. and Southern Arkansas University at 4:30 p.m.
