Dan Camp
Football, SAAC Treasurer, Senior
Biology and History Major
Â
What are your career goals with a Biology and History dual-major?
I want to work in conservation either as a game warden in a state park or as a wildlife conservationist.
What are some hobbies you have outside of football?
I like to hike, fish, camp, and play the guitar. I really like anything outdoors.
What was the best part of your summer?
I would say the Sangamon County Fair. I was able to see a lot of friends and eat some good food and listen to country music. It is always a good time.
What is your favorite football team? Favorite player?
The Chicago Bears are my favorite team. Peyton Manning is my favorite player because of his leadership qualities.
If you could change one rule in football, what would it be?
I would move the kick-off line back to make the kick-off a bigger part of the game again.Â
How did you become passionate about the game of football?
I was looking for the next sport. My dad was a soccer player and my brother was a soccer player, but soccer was not for me. I started playing football and Derek Leonard, my high school coach, taught me about the game and really got me passionate about football.
