Meagan Ott

Meagan Ott enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Quincy University cheer and STUNT programs.

Ott comes to Quincy after serving as the head cheerleading coach at John Wood Community College from 2021-26. During her tenure, she helped lead the program to its first appearance at the Dance Team Union College Classic Nationals, where John Wood placed third in the All Girl division and fourth in the Gameday division.

Ott competed collegiately as a side base, participating in STUNT at Lindenwood University-Belleville in 2018 before competing with the Lindenwood University All Girl cheerleading program in 2019.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Illinois University in 2020.

Outside of coaching, Ott enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors with her family, playing with her pets, and watching reality television. She is married to Kayden Ott and is a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs.
