Matt Finn enters his first season as a graduate assistant with the Quincy University women’s volleyball program in 2026.
Finn comes to Quincy after serving as a head coach with Sports Performance Volleyball for one year. During his time with the organization, he guided his 16 Elite team to a first-place finish at the 2025 Tri-State Fall Opener and led his 16 Classic team to a third-place finish at the 2026 Windy City Round Up.
Prior to joining Sports Performance, Finn spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Oswego East High School.
A native of Naperville, Illinois, Finn played four seasons for the University of Iowa Men’s Volleyball Club, competing as both an outside hitter and libero. He earned Second Team All-Conference honors twice from the Big Ten MIVA and the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation.
Finn graduated from the University of Iowa in 2024 with a degree in film and general business. Outside of volleyball, Finn enjoys videography and photography. He is also a fan of the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago Blackhawks.
