Erik Krenz

Erik Krenz enters his second season as assistant coach for the Quincy University women's volleyball program in 2026.

Krenz joined the Hawks ahead of the 2025 season and helped Quincy continue its run as one of the top programs in the GLVC. In his first season on staff, the Hawks posted a 24-7 overall record, earned their fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament berth, and continued the program's streak of four straight 20-win seasons.

Prior to Quincy, Krenz served as head volleyball coach at Dakota Valley High School, where he guided the program to a runner-up finish at the South Dakota Class A State Championship. His efforts earned him South Dakota High School Activities Association (SDHSAA) Class A Coach of the Year honors.

A native of Mankato, Minnesota, Krenz played three seasons as a middle blocker at Morningside University. During his collegiate career, he was a three-time Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) All-Conference selection.

Krenz earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Morningside University in 2023. Outside of volleyball, he is a fan of Sir Safety Perugia and LOVB Nebraska.
