Callan Ivy enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Quincy University men's wrestling program in 2026-27 following the conclusion of his collegiate wrestling career with the Hawks.
Ivy begins his coaching career after spending his final three collegiate seasons at Quincy, where he developed into one of the top wrestlers in the program. He concluded his QU career with a 49-28 overall record and earned GLVC Third Team All-Conference honors, becoming one of the first two All-Conference wrestlers in program history.
The San Leandro, California native put together the best season of his career in 2025-26, posting a 30-10 overall record while climbing as high as No. 10 in the national rankings at 184 pounds. Ivy went 15-3 in dual competition, with his 15 dual victories tying the program's single-season record. He won the Luther Hill Open for the second consecutive season and finished fourth at the NCAA Division II Regional #4, narrowly missing a trip to the NCAA Championships.
Ivy's accomplishments extended beyond the mat during his time at Quincy. He was a two-time NWCA Scholar All-American and three-time GLVC Academic All-Conference selection while also earning CSC Academic All-District honors and the Brother Clete Van Ackeren Award.
Prior to Quincy, Ivy competed at Chabot College at 197 pounds. During his collegiate career, he earned UWW Greco-Roman All-America and CCCAA Wrestling All-America honors.
Ivy earned his associate degree in kinesiology from Chabot College in 2023 before completing his Master of Science in human performance with an emphasis in exercise science from Quincy University in 2026.
