Brandon Watkins

Brandon Watkins enters his first season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Quincy University in 2026-27.

Watkins comes to Quincy after serving as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. In that role, he directly oversaw the strength and conditioning programs for baseball, softball, volleyball, and men's and women's golf while also assisting with men's wrestling, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and track and field.

During the summer of 2026, Watkins also completed an internship with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign strength and conditioning staff, working directly with volleyball, baseball, swimming and diving, soccer, and wrestling.

A native of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Watkins played collegiate baseball as an outfielder at Anoka-Ramsey Community College from 2018-21 before completing his playing career at the University of Dubuque from 2021-23. During his time at Anoka-Ramsey, he earned NJCAA All-South Division, All-MCAC, and All-Region honors and was named Player of the Year.

Watkins earned his associate degree in exercise science from Anoka-Ramsey Community College in 2021 and his bachelor's degree in wellness and exercise science from the University of Dubuque in 2023. He completed his master's degree in sport management from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2026.

Outside of strength and conditioning, Watkins enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends. He is a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.
