Biography
2023-24 (Freshman): Lake gained his first collegiate experience with the Hawks during the 2023-24 season, finishing with a 2-13 overall record and a .133 win percentage. He saw limited dual action, going 0-4 overall and 0-3 in conference matchups.
Lake recorded one fall during his freshman campaign. He made his collegiate debut at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open (11/4/23), where he picked up the first two wins of his career and earned his first podium finish by placing sixth in the Amateur 133 division.

Personal: Lake is from Bronson, Michigan, where he attended Bronson Jr/Sr High School. The son of Jeff and Michele Lake, Perry competed in both wrestling and cross country during his high school career.
On the mat, Lake was a state finalist and helped lead his team to a runner-up finish at the state championships. He also helped Bronson win three consecutive Big 8 Conference championships. In cross country, Lake qualified for the state meet, showcasing his versatility as a multi-sport athlete.
Outside of athletics, Perry enjoys playing video games, working out, and staying active. His favorite athletes are Jordan Burroughs, Marshawn Lynch, and DK Metcalf, and he is a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Tigers.
