2023-24 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Owen made his collegiate debut at the Maryville Open (11/4/23), where he picked up his first career win on the mat with a 19-13 decision in the amateur 141 division.

Personal: Owen Manley, from Palmer, Alaska, attended Palmer High School, where he competed for the Moose. He is the son of Brytnee and Cody Chase and has several siblings: Jadon, Bella, Keagan, Chloe, Mason, Liam, and Shelby.
Academically, Owen maintained a strong performance, earning a 3.8 GPA during his junior year and improving to a 4.3 GPA in his senior year. In wrestling, he was a standout competitor, placing fourth at the state level as a junior and finishing as the state runner-up his senior year. He also secured the regional championship in his senior season. His work ethic and talent were recognized with several accolades, including the Hardest Working Individual Award (junior year), Most Takedowns Award (senior year, 88 takedowns), and the Outstanding Wrestler Award (senior year).
After high school, Owen continued his wrestling career at Southwestern Oregon Community College during the 2021-2022 season. Outside of wrestling, he enjoys reading, writing, gaming, music, and spending time outdoors.
