Quincy University Hawks

2022-23 (Junior): Smith made his first season with the Hawks a productive one after transferring from Harper College, finishing with a 14-15 overall record and a .483 win percentage. He was a steady contributor in dual action, going 7-5 overall and 2-4 in conference matchups while posting a .583 dual win percentage and scoring 27 dual points for Quincy.

Smith recorded one fall, two major decisions, nine decision victories, and two ranked wins, which tied for the team lead. He also showed his ability to win close matches, leading the team with three overtime victories.

Smith made his Quincy debut at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open (11/5/22) before picking up his first wins as a Hawk at the Lindenwood Open (11/19/22). He closed the season with a fourth-place finish at NCAA Division II Regional #4 (2/26/23), coming up just short of qualifying for the national tournament.
