Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Redshirt Sophomore): Rios-Loud continued to gain experience for the Hawks during the 2025-26 season, finishing with a 6-14 overall record and a .300 win percentage. He also saw time in dual action, going 1-5 overall and 0-1 in conference matchups while scoring six dual points for Quincy.

Rios-Loud recorded one fall, one tech fall, one major decision, and one decision victory during the year. His top tournament finish came at the Service Salute Open (11/8/25), where he earned a third-place finish.

2024-25 (Sophomore): Rios-Loud made his collegiate debut for the Hawks during the 2024-25 season, finishing with a 12-9 overall record and a .571 win percentage. He did not see dual action, but was productive in tournament competition with three falls, five tech falls, and three decision victories.

Rios-Loud opened his career at the Luther Hill Invitational (11/2/24), going 2-2 and earning the first wins of his collegiate career. He followed with his first career podium finish at the Service Salute Open (11/9/24), placing third in the Open 125 division after going 3-1 with three tech falls.

Later in the season, Rios-Loud captured the first tournament title of his career at the Dr. Tom Smith Invitational (1/11/25), going 3-0 to win the Open 125 division. He added another podium finish at the Roger Denker Open (1/19/25), placing fourth.

Personal: Rios-Loud is from Springfield, Illinois, where he attended Springfield High School and competed for the Senators. During his high school career, he won three conference championships and a regional championship, while also qualifying for sectionals twice.

Kaden comes from an athletic family, as his uncle, William Rios, swam collegiately at Illinois College. He is the son of Genie Rios and has a brother, Lorenz, and a sister, Mireya. He is also supported by his grandparents, Christi and Mario Rios. Outside of athletics, Kaden enjoys working out, exploring nature, and listening to music. He is a fan of the Miami Heat.
