2024-25 (Sophomore): In his sophomore season, Josiah made his collegiate debut on the mat at the Dr. Tom Smith Invitational (1/11/25), where he picked up his first career win.

Personal:Â Josiah Oliver-Ross, from Sedalia, Missouri, attended Smith-Cotton High School where he competed as a wrestler for the Tigers. A standout both on and off the mat, Josiah earned the Character and Leadership All-American Award, became a member of the 100 Win Club, and was a two-time recipient of the Iron Man Award. He was the Missouri Freestyle and Greco State Champion and was ranked 2nd in the state for wrestling at one point. He also represented Team Missouri as a varsity wrestler at 170 pounds. Josiah is the son of Elizabeth and Anthony Ross and has eight siblings: Wesley, Gunnar, Jaiden, Deandrew, Nyia, Malachi, Alana, and Chloe. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and going on long jogs. His favorite athlete is Odell Beckham Jr., and he is a fan of the Seattle Seahawks.
