Quincy University Hawks

2022-23 (Freshman): Connell opened his collegiate career with a 6-9 overall record and a .400 win percentage during his freshman season. He made one dual appearance for the Hawks and picked up a win, scoring six dual points for Quincy.

Connell recorded one fall, two major decisions, and three decision victories on the season. He made his collegiate debut at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open (11/5/22), where he went 3-3 and placed sixth for the first wins and first podium finish of his career.
