2023-24 (Junior): As a junior, Gavin was tied for second on the team with seven falls. He picked up three wins, two by fall, and earned a 7th-place finish in the elite 157 division at the Maryville Open (11/4/23).Â

2022-23 (Sophomore): Morawitz made his debut in a Hawk uniform at the Maryville Open (11/5/22), where he picked up two wins and a 4th place finish in the elite 157 division.

Personal: Morwaitz transferred to Quincy University after spending one season at Hannibal-LaGrange University. In that one season at HLGU, he was an NAIA National Qualifier. He is originally from New London, Missouri, where he graduated from Hannibal High School. In high school, he was an All-State Wrestler and was a part of a conference championship team. Outside of wrestling, he enjoys spending his time fishing.
Why QU?
I chose QU because it is close to home and it gave me an opportunity to continue wrestling.
