2023-24 (Freshman): Elijah made his collegiate debut at the Maryville Open (11/4/23), but earned his first collegiate win at the Lindenwood Open (11/18/23), winning by major decision (17-9).

Personal: Elijah Mohring, from Cambria, Illinois, attended Carterville High School, where he competed for the Lions. He is the son of Angie and Mike Ren and has several siblings: Jon Mohring, Shaydie Russell, Delta Hood, and Georgie Ren.

A dedicated wrestler, Elijah was a two-time Class 1A sectional qualifier and earned numerous accolades, including the Character and Leadership All-American Award, 1st Team All-Conference honors, selection to the All-South Team, and recognition as his team’s MVP. He admires athletes such as Bo Nickal, Kyle Dake, Drew Brees, and Aaron Donald. His favorite NFL team is the New Orleans Saints.

I chose QU because it was the perfect fit for me. The coaches influenced me to choose QU because they are focused on getting me to where I want to be in wrestling and life.
