2024-25 (Freshman): As a freshman, Flores made his collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Invitational (11/2/24), where he earned his first career victory. Flores went on to win all three dual matches in the 133 slot at the Loosbrock Dual (11/8/24) and earn a 4th-place finish in the open 133 division at the Service Salute Open (11/9/24).

Personal: Damien Flores hails from Minooka, Illinois, and is a graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy, where he competed as a wrestler for the Hilltoppers. During his high school career, he earned accolades as a one-time state qualifier, one-time regional champion, and two-time All-Conference selection. He played a key role in helping his team capture the ESCC Conference and Regional Team Championships. Damien was ranked in the top eight in Illinois' 3A division at 132 lbs and finished in the top 16 at the 3A IHSA State Finals. He is the son of Marysol Martinez and Ro Flores, and has a sibling, Dominic Flores. Outside of wrestling, Damien enjoys lifting, running, fishing, and video games. His favorite athletes include Derrick Rose, Roman Bravo-Young, Yair Rodriguez, and Belal Muhammad, and he’s a big fan of the Chicago White Sox, Bulls, and Bears. He also enjoys giving back to the sport by assisting in coaching youth wrestlers at Callan Wrestling Academy.

I chose QU because of the strong sense of community and commitment to the athletes. I was also drawn to the great coaching staff and QU's smaller environment.
