Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Sophomore): Flores continued to contribute for the Hawks during his sophomore season, finishing with an 8-8 overall record and a .500 win percentage. He was perfect in dual action, going 2-0 while scoring eight dual points for Quincy. Flores recorded one fall, three tech falls, and four decision victories during the season, with half of his wins coming by bonus points.

2024-25 (Freshman): Flores stepped into the lineup during his freshman season with the Hawks, finishing with a 14-17 overall record and a .452 win percentage. He was active in dual competition, going 7-5 overall and 0-3 in conference matchups while posting a .583 dual win percentage and scoring 35 dual points for Quincy.

Flores recorded five tech falls, two major decisions, and three decision victories during the season. He made his collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Invitational (11/2/24), where he earned the first win of his career.

Flores added his first collegiate podium finish at the Service Salute Open (11/9/24), placing fourth in the Open 133 division. He later earned another podium finish at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open (11/24/24), placing fifth.

Personal: Flores is from Minooka, Illinois, and graduated from Joliet Catholic Academy, where he competed for the Hilltoppers. During his high school career, Damien was a one-time state qualifier, one-time regional champion, and two-time All-Conference selection. He also helped his team capture ESCC Conference and Regional Team Championships.

Flores was ranked in the top eight in Illinois Class 3A at 132 pounds and finished in the top 16 at the IHSA Class 3A State Finals. He is the son of Marysol Martinez and Ro Flores and has one sibling, Dominic.

Outside of wrestling, Damien enjoys lifting, running, fishing, and playing video games. His favorite athletes are Derrick Rose, Roman Bravo-Young, Yair Rodriguez, and Belal Muhammad, and he is a fan of the Chicago White Sox, Bulls, and Bears. He also gives back to the sport by helping coach youth wrestlers at Callan Wrestling Academy.
