2024-25 (Junior): Silva put together the first double-digit win season of his career as a junior, finishing with a 10-10 overall record and a .500 win percentage. He did not see dual action, but found success throughout tournament competition with four falls, one tech fall, and five decision victories.
Silva opened the year with a fifth-place finish at the Luther Hill Invitational (11/2/24), where he collected four wins and defeated teammate Easton Norris in the fifth-place match of the Open 157 division. He followed with a fourth-place finish at the Service Salute Open (11/9/24), winning a pair of matches, before adding another fifth-place finish at the Dr. Tom Smith Invitational (1/11/25), where he put together four more victories.

2023-24 (Sophomore): Silva continued to gain experience for the Hawks during his sophomore season, finishing with a 7-12 overall record and a .368 win percentage. He saw limited dual action, going 0-3 overall and 0-2 in conference matchups.
Silva recorded three falls, two tech falls, one major decision, and one decision victory during the season. He earned the first podium finish of his collegiate career at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open (11/4/23), placing sixth in the Amateur 149 division after going 2-3 and winning his first two matches by tech fall. He later added a fourth-place finish at the Lindenwood Open (11/18/23).

2022-23 (Freshman): Silva stepped into the Quincy lineup during his freshman season, finishing with a 4-11 overall record and a .267 win percentage. He saw steady time in dual action, going 3-7 overall and 0-5 in conference matchups while scoring 18 dual points for the Hawks.
Silva recorded one fall and one decision victory during the season. He made his collegiate debut at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open (11/5/22) before picking up the first win of his career in a 37-9 dual victory over Fontbonne (11/9/22), winning his bout by fall.

Personal: Silva is from Wasilla, Alaska, where he attended Colony High School. He excelled both academically and athletically, graduating with a 3.81 GPA while competing in wrestling and cross country. On the mat, Carter was a standout competitor and captured the D1 ASAA 125-pound championship. He is the son of Joe and Ashlee Silva.
