2024-25 (Junior): As a junior, Groff upped his win total to eight and had four falls for the second straight season. He picked up three wins and a 3rd-place finish in the open 285 division at the Luther Hill (11/2/24).

2023-24 (Sophomore): In his first season with the Hawks, Groff made his debut with the Hawks at the Roger Denker Open (1/14/24), picking up two wins for his first victories in a QU uniform. At the Greyhound Open, Caleb dropped his first match, but proceeded to win four consecutive matches to make it back to the 5th-place game, where he ultimately fell by fall.

Personal: Caleb Groff, from Oak Grove, Missouri, is a graduate of Oak Grove R-VI High School and spent one season at William Jewell College before transferring to Quincy University. He is the son of Jennifer and Devin Slimmer and has a sister, Katie Slimmer. Caleb compiled an impressive career wrestling record of 161-11, earning four state medals, 4th as a freshman, 2nd as a sophomore, 3rd as a junior, and 2nd as a senior. He was the 2025 NWCA Leadership Award recipient and the 2022 Freestyle State Champion. Outside of wrestling, Caleb enjoys golfing and is a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
