Personal: King is from Olive Branch, Mississippi, where he attended Center Hill High School and competed for the Mustangs. During his athletic career, he earned Second Team All-State honors and placed third at the state level.

Anthony is the son of Anthony and Detra King and has two siblings, Devin and CaNedra. Outside of athletics, he enjoys playing football and video games. His favorite athletes are LeBron James, Gable Steveson, and Tony Pollard, and he is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
