Biography
2025-26 (Junior): Baca put together another standout season for the Hawks as a junior, finishing with a team-best 32-15 overall record and a .681 win percentage. She also led the team in dual wins, going 11-4 overall and 4-1 in conference duals, while posting a .733 dual win percentage. Baca scored a team-high 53 dual points and recorded 17 falls, seven tech falls, five decision victories, and four ranked wins. She also had the fastest fall of her season at 0:18.
Baca continued to be a consistent podium finisher, placing fourth at the Luther Hill Open (11/1/25) before winning the Ottawa Open (11/8/25), where she went 4-0 with a ranked win to earn the second tournament title of her career. She added a sixth-place finish at the North Central Open (12/14/25) and later won the Missouri Baptist Open (1/16/26), going 3-0 to claim the third tournament title of her career. Baca closed the season with a fourth-place finish at NCAA Women’s Wrestling Regional #5 (2/20-21/26).

2024-25 (Sophomore): Baca continued to be a steady contributor for the Hawks during her sophomore season, finishing with a 28-15 overall record and a .651 win percentage. She was strong in dual action, going 11-3 with a .786 dual win percentage while scoring 55 dual points on the season. Baca recorded 11 falls, nine tech falls, five decision victories, and one ranked win.
Baca also remained a consistent podium finisher throughout the season, placing fourth at the Luther Hill Open (11/2/24), third at the Luther College Open (11/9/24), fifth at the MBU Open (1/17/25), and fifth at the NCWWC Women’s Region VI Tournament (2/23/25).

2023-24 (Freshman): Baca made an immediate impact during her freshman season with the Hawks, finishing with a 28-17 overall record and a .622 win percentage. She was also one of Quincy’s strongest dual performers, going 13-5 in dual action, with her 13 dual wins tied for the team lead. Baca added a .722 dual win percentage and scored a team-high 64 dual points, while recording 12 falls, 11 tech falls, one decision victory, and four ranked wins.
Baca made her collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Open (11/4/23), where she went 3-2. She went on to find the podium four times during the season, placing seventh at the Luther College Open (11/11/23), second at the Spire Classic (1/26/24), first at the Grand View Open (2/3/24), and eighth at the NCWWC Region V Tournament (2/23-24/24). Her tournament title came in the Silver 109 division at the Grand View Open, where she went 4-0 with three ranked wins.

Personal: Baca is from Indio, California, where she attended La Quinta High School. During her high school career, she balanced academics and athletics, graduating with a 4.02 GPA while taking advanced and honors classes. On the mat, Baca was a two-time team captain and qualified for the California State Championships.
Sereena is the daughter of Shawna and Freddy Baca and has three siblings: Karlee Alford, Raymond Baca, and Izaiah Baca. Outside of wrestling, she enjoys baking, hiking, and spending time with her best friends. Her favorite athletes are Mason Parris and Forest Molinari, and she is a fan of the Los Angeles Angels and Las Vegas Raiders.
