Biography

2025-26 (Sophomore): Crawford built on her freshman campaign with another productive season for the Hawks, finishing with a 25-21 overall record and a .543 win percentage. She went 6-7 in dual action, including a 2-2 mark in conference duals, while scoring 29 dual points on the season.

Crawford was especially dangerous when she got to her offense, recording a team-high 19 falls along with two tech falls and two decision victories. She also earned a pair of podium finishes, placing sixth at the Ottawa Open (11/8/25) before taking fourth at NCAA Women’s Wrestling Regional #5 (2/20-21/26).

2024-25 (Freshman): Crawford wasted little time making an impact in her first season with the Hawks, finishing with a 24-19 overall record and a .558 win percentage. She was a steady presence in dual action, going 10-6 with a .625 dual win percentage while scoring 51 dual points. Crawford recorded 17 falls, two tech falls, one decision victory, and two ranked wins, which tied for the team lead.

Crawford made her collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Open (11/2/24), where she placed sixth for the first podium finish of her career. She went 4-3 at the tournament and picked up her first collegiate win by fall over a ranked opponent. Crawford added two more podium finishes during the season, placing second at the Luther College Open (11/9/24) and fifth at the NCWWC Women’s Region IV Tournament (2/23/25).

Personal: Crawford is from Kirksville, Missouri, where she attended Kirksville R-III Senior High School and competed for the Tigers. She is the daughter of Sarah and Jeremy Crawford and has three siblings: Morgan, Dakota, and Benson. In addition to athletics, Crawford was active in school, serving on Student Council for three years and participating in Key Club for two years.

Crawford was a multi-sport athlete at Kirksville, competing in tennis for four years, track for three years, and wrestling for three years. In tennis, she was a two-time district placer and sectional qualifier. On the mat, Crawford placed third at districts in both 2023 and 2024, finished fifth at state in 2023, and improved to a third-place state finish in 2024. She also placed sixth at the Wonder Woman tournament and became the first female wrestler in program history to place at state, reaching the milestone in just her second year in the sport. She was also named Academic All-State both years she qualified.

On the national stage, Crawford was a 2024 Fargo qualifier and went 3-2 at the event. She also represented Missouri as a member of the 2024 Freestyle and Greco National Team. At National Duals, she competed at 170 pounds in Greco and bumped up to 190 pounds in Freestyle, finishing with a 6-2 freestyle record.

Outside of competition, Crawford enjoys thrifting, playing sand volleyball, listening to music, and doing crafts.
