Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Sophomore): Hickman made her Quincy debut during the 2025-26 season and put together a strong first year on the mat for the Hawks, finishing with an 8-3 overall record and a .727 win percentage. She did not see dual action, but recorded four falls, three tech falls, and one decision victory, with seven of her eight wins coming by bonus points.

Hickman made her collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Open (11/1/25), where she went 4-2 while picking up the first wins and first podium finish of her career. She followed with another strong tournament performance at the Ottawa Open (11/8/25), placing third.

Personal: Hickman is from Alton, Illinois, where she attended Alton High School and competed for the Redbirds. She is the daughter of Nana Becoat and Elmer Hickman and has eight siblings: Roy, D’Antony, Jordann, Courtney, Elijah, Autumn, Emmanuel, and Koby. Her father, Elmer Hickman, played football at the University of Illinois and in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins.

On the mat, Hickman put together a standout high school career. She qualified for the state tournament in her first season at 155 pounds in 2023 and placed fourth at the IWCOA that same year. In 2024, she placed third at the IHSA State Tournament, was ranked third in the state of Illinois, compiled a 37-6 record, and won conference and regional championships. She was also named an IHSA All-State wrestler.

Outside of athletics, Hickman enjoys writing, playing video games, and walking.
