Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Freshman): Atkinson got her collegiate career off to a strong start with the Hawks, finishing her freshman season with an 8-5 overall record and a .615 win percentage. She made one dual appearance and came away with a victory, scoring five dual points for Quincy.

Atkinson was efficient in bonus-point situations, recording five falls and three tech falls, with all eight of her wins coming by bonus points. She made her collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Open (11/1/25), where she went 4-1 and earned a third-place finish behind three falls and one tech fall.

Personal: Atkinson is from Rochelle, Illinois, where she attended Rochelle Township High School. She is the daughter of Andrew and Tressa Atkinson and has one sibling, Chase.

A standout multi-sport athlete, Atkinson made history as the first female wrestler in school history to qualify for and medal at state. She was a three-time IHSA State Qualifier, two-time state medalist, and two-time conference champion, while also setting school records for most state pins in a season with four and most career state pins with six. She also competed nationally as a three-time Team Illinois Fargo member.

In addition to wrestling, Atkinson also excelled in volleyball and track and field. She earned two All-Conference honors in volleyball and was named the 2024 MVP, while also qualifying for indoor state in track and field in 2025. Across her high school career, she earned 12 varsity letters and was a six-time Academic All-Conference honoree.

Outside of athletics, Atkinson enjoys thrifting, playing sand volleyball, listening to music, and working on crafts. She is a fan of the Chicago White Sox.
