Biography
2025-26 (Freshman): Mendoza gained valuable experience in her first season with the Hawks, finishing with a 14-15 overall record and a .483 win percentage. She split her six dual appearances, going 3-3 overall and 2-1 in conference duals, while scoring 15 dual points for Quincy.
Mendoza recorded three falls, six tech falls, and one decision victory during the season. She made her collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Open (11/1/25) before earning the first podium finish of her career at the Luther Open (11/15/25), placing eighth. Mendoza continued to build momentum in tournament action, adding a second-place finish at the North Central College Open (12/14/25) and a third-place finish at the Missouri Baptist Open (1/16/26).

Personal: Mendoza is from Corpus Christi, Texas, where she attended Veterans Memorial High School and competed for the Eagles. She is the daughter of Janelly and Roberto Mendoza and has one sibling, Ariel.
On the mat, Abigail put together a decorated high school career. She was a four-time district champion, four-time regional champion, two-time state placer, four-time Team Texas member, and earned a spot on the National Team.
Outside of wrestling, Mendoza enjoys reading and painting. Her favorite athletes are Simone Biles and Helen Maroulis.
