Biography
Background:
Orlet is an Elementary Education major from Belleville, IL. She’s the daughter of Jim & Lisa Orlet, and older sister to George Orlet (17), Teddy Orlet (15), and Gabby Orlet (14). Mia’s mother, Lisa, is a former player and graduate at the University of Kansas. Mia graduated with a 3.8 GPA from Althoff Catholic High School and was a member of the National Honors Society. Orlet was also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Orlet placed second in Class 3A and third place in Class 2A for the Crusaders.
Why I chose QU
I chose Quincy for various reasons. A lot of my family went here, and I have heard great stories about their experiences. I love that it is a smaller private school, so teachers know who you are and are more available to help you. Lastly, when I visited campus everyone seemed so friendly and welcoming.
