Quincy University Hawks

2023 (Freshman): Appeared in four matches for a total of six sets, where she recorded ten kills, four digs, and two blocks. She made her debut against N.M. Highlands (9/1/23), which is also where she recorded her first kill.

Personal: Mattie Reynolds, a standout athlete from St. Louis, attended Lutheran High School, where she played for the Cougars. She is the daughter of Maggie and Darren Reynolds and the sister of Jordan.

Her volleyball achievements are impressive—she earned All-State, All-Conference, and All-District honors, reaching the milestone of 1,000 career kills. She played a key role in her team’s success, helping them win the Class 3 District Championship in 2022 and the Class 4 District Championship in 2021. Individually, she was named MVP of her high school team in both her junior and senior years and also received MVP honors for the LHS Tournament team during those same seasons.

Off the court, Mattie enjoys babysitting, lifting, and practicing yoga. She admires Olympic beach volleyball player April Ross and is a fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Why QU?
I chose QU because of the family aspect and home feeling I get when I step on campus. I fell in love with the people and coaches.
